Attention Members!
Effective December 16, 2010, OSHA cancelled OSHA Instruction STD 03-00-001; the interim enforcement policy on" Fall Protection for specified Residential Construction Activities".
Under the new policy employers engaged in Residential Construction must comply with 29CFR1926.501(b)(13) effective June 16, 2011.
All Fall Protection Residential cards will expire on June 16, 2011. Members with this card must attend a one-hour "Construction Fall Protection" update class to receive the "Construction Fall Protection" card.
Members that took the 4-hour Fall Protection class must take the 8-hour "Construction Fall Protection" class to receive the card.
